My little brother (who is 6'4" mind you) just went to the temple for the first time yesterday. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints young men at the age of 19 serve a mission for our church for two years. Young women can also serve at the age of 21. One of the things you do before serving a mission is to go to the temple. You have to prepare yourself to be worthy to go first. It is a very big deal when you are prepared to go to the temple. This is a picture of my dad with Joseph. John and I were married in this same temple.
Joseph will be leaving June 1st to serve in the Monterrey Mexico East Mission Spanish speaking. We are very excited for him!
