Cassie: Not having a college degree. I love being a stay home mom and I'm glad I had my children when I did but those couple of years before I met John I really wish I would have taken advantage of going to school. Going to school now with three children is very hard and slow coming. The older I get the more I wish I had it already. I feel insecure about it because we have many friends (aka moms) with degrees as well as most of the siblings on John's side of the family (I'm the youngest of the bunch). I would never trade having kids early but as the saying goes "knowledge is power" and I'm not done learning.

John: The tire around the mid-section.

I totally feel you pain there, but I know a lot of people who have degrees and advanced degrees who I know I know more than they do, I just have to get the piece of paper to prove it. At least you are working on it. That is enough!
The most important thing is being happy at the current phase of life that you find yourself in.
I'm the exact opposite of you in this regard. For a variety of reasons the right path for me was doing the school thing. I wish I had kids, but I love what I do.
Don't worry, someday you'll have your degree & I'll have kids!!
