Day 21

Something you wish you could forget.

Cassie: When Boston was little I went grocery shopping. When putting the groceries in the car I accidentally locked Boston and my keys in the car. My cell phone was also in the car so I couldn't call anyone. I stood there feeling completely helpless. When someone walked past I asked them to stand next to Boston's window and watch him while I ran inside to call John. He was in the middle of a golf game and was like 15 minutes away. That was way too long for me. When I ran back outside the person watching the car was still there but then decided to leave when I got back. Gee thanks for the help. A nice old man suggested I call the fire department but I was scared of making a big scene. A few minutes later (all this while I'm still waiting for John to come) the man came back and said he told the fire department anyway (they were around the block) and a minute later I heard the sirens. I was just crying and feeling so horrible. I was so scared that Boston was getting too hot (we lived in AZ) and he was crying. The fire department was ready to force the lock when John came pulling up. I was so mad at him because all he could say was "Why did you call the fire department?". I said "Unlock the door!" Of course he was fine but man that was the worst feeling. Though I wish I could forget it's probably good I don't because from that day forward I have never shut all the doors to the car until I'm in it and my keys stay in my pocket.
John: I wish I could forget Marie Antoinette, the movie. Horrible. Kirsten Dunst was the star of a plotless movie. It did win best costume.
