Happy 5 years in NYC

For our 5 year anniversary John decided to take me from picking apples to the big apple (ha ha ha, big apple, ha ha tear). So we had a blast. We had a babysitter all day for the kids. It was awesome!

On the train headed for New York. This was were we exited from Penn Station, right under this sign where all the people are, Madison Square Garden. Then directly to my left was Macy's. And straight ahead you can see the top of the Empire State building. The close up view. Walking toward Time Square. Paramount and The Hard Rock Cafe.Gross fat picture of me in Time Square. The Shubert Theatre where they play Spamalot. Walkin' the streets of the theatre district. John says this resturant's bakery has the best New York cheesecake and black and white cookies. Riding the subway to Central Park.Gross subways. The Time Warner Center. If you've ever seen Enchanted this is where Patrick Dempsy's office is. Trump Tower.About to head into Central Park.Park bench sittin'.
Where's Moroni? Makin' a quick stop in the Manhattan Temple. It was closed for cleaning and renovation. Across the street from the temple, Juliard, which is also getting a makeover. In fact the Empire State Building was also being restored. Does this happen a lot here?
In the red brick building with the Tan canopy is Grey Dogs in Greenwich Village. This is where we had lunch. This is one of John's personal favorites in New York and not far from NYU. It was great and totally crowded. John has been a few times and says he has never seen it without a line. P.S. This couple sitting next to us were so annoying. They were all kissy face and giggling, but not in a cute way but overly dramatic like they were in a movie. Hello we are sitting right next to you, vomit! I guess that's the differance between 5 years two kids married and just started dating.
Walking back to Penn Station it started to rain. Ah, how romantic. What a great ending to a great day. Happy Anniversary John, it's been a wonderful 5 years.
