15 Facts About Me 1. I am one of four girls in my family and have only one brother (who leaves for his mission June 1st).
2. I have always hated Macaroni and Cheese. Even when I was a kid.
3. I started dancing when I was 14 years old. I only stopped dancing when I moved to Texas. That is over 10 years (whether teaching or performing) of dancing. And yes I miss it.
4. I love to cook. I want to go to culinary school and finish my degree in Hospitality restaurant hotel management. My dream is to be a professional cook with my own T.V. show on the Food Network.
5. When I was 18 I was a part of one of those pyramid scheme companies that try to get you to sell things to people. Though I made great friends doing it I never sold a single thing.
6. I still keep in contact with some of my greatest friends from junior high school. When I visit AZ we always get together and have fun as if no time has passed. I love that.
7. I have been to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. I loved it but I will never do it again.
8. I have driven across the country from Arizona to New Jersey. From Jersey I drove all the way up to Maine which is kind of a big deal for a 'zone girl.
9. When I was a kid my favorite game to play was a spy game with my dad and sisters where we dressed in black, climbed in and out of the windows, shut off the power and tried to scare my mom. My dad appropriately named the game Nazi’s and my parents got a phone call home from the teacher when my little sister wrote a story about it at school.
10. In junior high school I failed my English class and though I was given permission to try out I was told I would not make the cheer team because of my grade. In high school I failed math the last semester of my senior year and was kicked off the dance team. Though I should have learned my lesson the first time I will always regret that dumb choice. Now in college I am an A student and will not fail this time!
11. Growing up my Grandma and three of my Aunts shared a home with us and it was in my opinion the best life ever! They are only about 10-ish years older than me and they were like my sisters. I don’t know how they felt about having their little nieces around all the time though.
12. John and I met at the end of March 2003 and then dated, were engaged and finally married by the beginning of September 2003. From beginning to wed took only half a year and we have now been married for 7 and a half years.
13. I hate facebook. I think it’s impersonal and addicting (for me personally) and that’s why I don’t have my own facebook account. I never used Myspace either. I use blogspot though. Go figure.
14. I do not like seafood. I have tried it a million times and just can’t get into it.
15. I love the show Psych on USA network because the main character reminds me of my husband.
