Road trip 2009

Thus begins the New England road trip. We headed up Thursday to Boston. Friday was spent exploring Boston and then driving up to MAINE! You read that right. Then Saturday we went to Salem, Massachusetts and then home. We hit up 5 states in 3 days. We're freakin' nuts!
Driving over the George Washington Bridge in New York. Washington Heights. Driving through Rhode Island. This is what we watched on Thursday night. Sad :(
Boston thought this was so cool. Old North Church where Paul Revere delivered the "one if by land two if by sea" warning. The lantern was hung in this church.
Paul Revere's neighborhood.
Paul Revere house

Street performers at Quincy Market.

Old state house where the Declaration of Independence was first read to the people of Boston on that very same balcony. Directly in front of us is the sight of the Boston Massacre.
Old South meeting house where the plans and initiation of the Boston tea party commenced.
Church next to Granary Burial Ground.

The 5 victims of the Boston Massacre are all buried here.
