Philadelphia, PA

On Becca's last day in New Jersey we knew that she couldn't miss seeing Philadelphia. We hoped on a train Monday morning for some good ol' fun and way to much walking for two little boys. It was great.
On the train.
Reading Terminal Market Place.
Amanda may not love this picture but I think she looks pretty. More of Reading Terminal Market.
Benjamin Franklin's grave at Christ Church Burial Ground. OK, this is the funniest picture to me. Who stands at a grave site and points like they are meeting the person. Becca cracks me up. His burial stone. This took me by surprise. I would have thought he would have a big memorial spot, but this was all it was. People through coins out of respect and for money to help keep his spot taken care of. I would have liked to walk around inside the cemetery but they charge you to get in. That's kind of dumb, but it does pay for the maintenance of the cemetery. They had other grave sites of men who signed the Declaration of Independence in there too. A picture is worth a thousand words. Can you tell how annoyed we already were with Boston. He even got us to push him in the stroller, which he stole from Rendon. Guess how Rendon got around? That's right, taking turns caring him. He's a tank too. I love this picture. Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed. We planned on going inside but there weren't available tickets until the end of the day. They sold quick, and it was even a Monday. Dumb school groups. The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall behind it. At least there was no wait to see this. It was pretty neat to see. Like Boston's Spiderman pose? Anyone seen Enchanted? It looks like the one legged pigeon is heading south for the winter.
Time for Phillie cheese steak sandwiches at Sonny's.
Amanda got it the original way with peppers, cheese whiz and ketchup. Becca and I wimped out and just got it with provolone. Mmm.... so good.
