Stone Harbor NJ

So this weekend we decided to head out to the Atlantic ocean before the summer was gone. We followed a recommendation to Stone Habor NJ. This town is about 25 minutes south of Atlantic City. The beaches were great. The weather was perfect and the water was freezing. Here are some pictures of or trip. By the way half these pictures were taken on my camera phone 'cause my batterie died halfway through the trip. Rendon couldn't believe we were actually letting him dig in the sand.

This place is so pretty, it looks just like a movie.

Thanks for the beach chair Grandma Lisa!

John dug a small sand canal for the water to come up. Rendon thought it was so cool.
This kid is a crack up. He was doing karate jumps over the waves that came in.
Check out that form.
John taught them how to feed the Sea Gulls. They were throwing crackers in the air and the Sea Gulls would catch them in there mouths. This is only a 3rd of the Sea Gulls that showed up.
This was a great pizza place we ate at afterward (Were not into sea food or we would have tried one of those places). It was really good and there was a great view. Every home here has a dock and a boat in the back yard. We found out later this town is in the top 45 most expensive towns to live in the US. The home prices ranged from 1 to 2 millions dollars. Dang!

Yeah you made it to the ocean, that's my only complaint that we don't have an ocean here. That stinks that the water was cold, you'll have to go farther south to the carolinas, the water is always nice there. Love you guys, glad to see you enjoying the new surroundings. Oh and for some reason, John's hair looks a little blonde in that pic on the beach, ha ha!

your blog looks great, and you look so happy at your new place! I wish I could travel more. (I'm jealous you got to go to German town!) Shawn and I were just saying that we wish more people would do blogs. we both spent about an hour (him at work, me at home)looking at all your old posts and feel like we know you so much better now! Missing you, but glad we can keep in touch!

How is living away from home? I don't know if I could do it. It must be nice that you are so close to a beach.
