Some of my family came in town the last week of November to meet the newest member of the Ross family. We loved having them here. I wish we lived by each other all the time. Thanks for coming guys!
Sister Becca and my bro-in-law Peter. Meeting Grandma Lisa.
I swear he was not scared of her. He just looks, well, scared.
We took them to the Botanical Gardens.
Posers.
Hanging out at turtle pond.
We, and by we I mean they, played soccer. Rendon really wants to be in soccer this next spring. I'm looking forward to becoming a true soccer Mom.
I really had to talk myself into posting these two pictures. Having extra weight after pregnancy is really rough. It's hard not feeling comfortable in my own skin. I decided that I need to not worry about it because one day I will wish I had put pictures of myself up. Oh, and there is a guy standing behind me so it makes my thighs look a couple inches bigger than they are. Sigh...
The next day John had work (boo!) and the kids had school (boo!). I took the rest of the gang to the Fort Worth Stock Yards. This was actually the first time I had been. Check that box.
Twice a day they do the Fort Worth herd where they heard a group of long horn cattle down the street to the pin and back.
Brady decided to follow. I love how this picture depicts his determined walk. He has no fear. He was determined to go with them.
Over my right shoulder is the Stockyard Station where they have shops and restaurants.
For lunch we had Riscky's BBQ. I had to represent Texas by getting them some great BBQ!
This is Miss Molly's Hotel. Apparently it was featured in a haunted hotels show my Mom watches. She was really excited to see it. Becca photo bombed the picture. Ha ha...
Peter and Becca where champs this whole trip. They played with the boys constantly. I know they must have been worn out when they got home. From sun up to sun down Brady was always asking for Peter. Even when he needed a diaper change he would request Peter.
Again Finn looks a little terrified to have his picture taken. Is it just me or is there sort of a family resemblance here.
My parents wanted a picture with all the kids. Brady was not cooperating.
So it came down to three. Rendon is such a cheese.
Then it was parents and siblings pictures. Tiera and Joseph are missing from this sibling picture.
But we can't stay serious for too long.
The kids wanted to get in on this action.
And it just got out of hand from there.
That's how we roll.
