By the way they aren't exactly in order of event either, but I'm sure you don't care about that.
Our church primary (I'm the 1st counselor) had a temple trip this last Saturday. The Dallas temple is an hour away from where we live so this was a special opportunity for us to take our kids to the temple. It was wonderful.
Some friends and I were able to go to an art party studio in which everyone gets there own canvas and the instructor stands up front and takes us step by step through the painting. We chose to do a rendition of Van Gogh's Starry Night over the Rhone.
Still working on it.
Finished

For my birthday in July John bought me cooking classes from Central Market. I get to choose my classes so my first was Pastry 101. This was so great! We learned how to make buttermilk biscuits, pie crust, pate sucree, lemon curd, and Italian meringue.
The lemon curd which we put in our pate sucree (tart crust/sweet dough).
My table buddies while we make pie crust. They gave us quiche lorraine to fill them with.
Torching the meringue.
Boston and Brady spending brother time together. They are so sweet.
Dress up time with our friend Tevin.

Waiting for an oil change. This was sometime before Boston started school.
Gradually the arm dropped as he got more tired.
Then when Rendon wanted to be nice and put his are around Boston this is what happened...
which led to this. Okay circus is done.
I made my first fondant cake. Here is the mess.
Here is the fondant.
Thanks for sending us the teeth Dad!
Boston was invited to a bowling party for a friend from school. These are two of his best buds from school and the're both red headed. Cute.
Don't know who the kid in yellow is.
We threw a One Year Old's birthday party for our play group. We have a lot of babies that turned one this summer. We were even missing a couple babies in this picture.

Our dear friend Maria in Pensylvania made sure to remember Brady's birthday with a card and gift. After all they do share the same birthday. Thank you Maria. We miss you and your family!
