January activities

I think everyone in the blogging world goes through a blogging break. My break which has consisted from about October until now was a large part due to a crappy camera, little motivation and thinking that there really wasn't anything that interesting going on in our life. I'm trying to pick up the pace again by blogging more than once a month. Here goes.

Library visit. We do this maybe two or three times a month. I know, it's not really something to blog about.
This on the other hand is. I'm sitting down reading something when Rendon yells out "Mom, come here and take my picture. The hippo is eating me!"

One of the gifts the kids recieved for Christmas was this dino fossil kit from Aunt Kate and Uncle Ryan. I'm diggin' the safety goggles included.

Rendon looked awesome in them.

Speaking of Dinosaurs we went on a small excursion to Dinosaur World. It was rainy and cold and totally fun. We went with Aunt Sarah and her nephew Tevin.

Digging once again for fossils sans goggles.

They opened up a Sprouts in the area. There are seriously no health food grocery stores in our area. The closest is Central Market which is about 20 minutes away. You can understand my excitement.

I went to the grand opening which was almost a bad idea. The lines went to the back of the store.

I say almost a bad idea 'cause the prices where awesome and only for that weekend. $1 box of Mothers Best cereal. You can't beat that.

Brady being so patient.

This was a friend we made while standing in line for 40 minutes! She was fun. We would remember something and then watch each others carts to go get it. She held Brady for me so I could get a much needed break. Rendon did great too.

We also went to the annual Fort Worth Stock Show. This is a BIG deal for Fort Worth. It's like a state fair for cowboys. We had fun. (Rendon is holding up his Batman in this picture)
