A New Year

I'm really looking forward to this new year. I just have a feeling it's going to be a good one. The day after Christmas I was already taking down the tree and putting the decorations in the attic. I know that's kind of weird but I just really was ready for the new year.

New years eve was one of the funniest I've had in years. The kids were spending the night at Grandma and Papa's house so our evening started at 4pm. We went out to eat, Cracker Barrel, then saw Avatar. John kept telling me I was the coolest wife for wanting to see it. It was great.

After that the night was spent at Sarah and Loren's. We played Rock Band for like 3 hours. It was so fun!! I've never played before. I'm terrible at any guitar but loved the singing and drums. Mom and dad would be proud to know that I scored awesome while singing "More Than a Feeling" by Boston (remember air guitaring to that at midnight in the Wherehouse dad?) and "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. It was a really great night. We are party animals.

This is pretty much what we looked like.

When it got really late we decided to cool things down with a little Wii Sport Resort.

Mmm...
Happy New Year!
