New York trip part 2

A week later we went back to New York to work the Abraham Lincoln bicentennial concert. There were bands, orchestra's and a choir performing. It too was at the Lincoln Center (see earlier post). This time my cousin Chelsea came to work the event. After ward we all went to eat (hubby Bryant met up with us) at Juniors in Time Square. Best cheesecake, comparable to cheesecake factory.

We spent most of the afternoon hanging out at their place and then took off to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe in Time Square. Afterward we were off to see the 2008 Tony Award winning musical "In the Heights". Awesome! We had a blast.
Elvis Presley Memorabilia. This Hard Rock has the largest number of memorabilia. Some weird world peace area. I wanted to show the magnitude of the place. This area shows about 1/4 of the restaurant. It's huge! This ones for my dad. This is Gene Simmons guitar. He's from the band KISS. The wall of guitars. Beatles memorabiliaBlurry pic of John in Time Square. Don't get run over! Us waiting to cross the street at Time Square. This is the inside of the Richard Rogers theatre were we saw the musical. We almost got a picture in front of the stage until some lady said that your not suppose to take pictures of the stage. No me diga! This is me being sneaky so you can see how close we really were, fourth row. Riding home on the train approximately 1am. Do we look tired? That's my fake sleeping face. I just look like I'm pouting. Funniest thing ever. When we got to the parking garage around 2 am there was this lady who had been on the train that totally looked like John's mom. We had to get pictures of her.

We actually have like nine different pictures of her and she never knew! We were laughing so hard. Good times, good memories. Even John's mom said, "Oh ya, she does look like me." Ha Ha

I freakin' loooove NYC! And I love the fact that you were taking pictures of a woman without her knowing! I did that with a guy who had the nastiest mullet ever. I got some good pics! Haha! Good times!
