Washington D.C.

This weekend my Young Women were doing baptisms at the Washington D.C. temple, so we decided to make a trip of it. It was a really great trip and the kids did so great.

After arriving at the hotel on Friday we decided to jump on the train and try to check out the Washington zoo. We made it there just to find out that it was closed for a special event. Lame!

So we walked down the street to get something to eat.
Goofing off in the subway. Look how much cleaning it is there than in New York. The subway's are so spacious and easy to understand.

Boston is getting to be an old pro at this. After I went to the temple Saturday morning we headed into Washington D.C. to the Air & Space Museum in Washington D.C.

So comfy
The American History Museum. It just reopened in November after years of remodeling. Boston was throwing a fit at this moment because we told him this was the last exhibit we were going to see before we went home. As you can tell he didn't want to leave. The Smithsonian CastleThe cherry blossoms are blooming. Quite a long walk. Look how far the Capital Building is. In total the whole mall from the Capital Building to the Lincoln Memorial is 2.2 miles. Almost home.
