Here is what our family was up to for Valentines week.
For V-Day the Young Women hit up the Nursing Home to spread a little Valentine cheer. We decorated the doors with giant Valentines.
Our YW pres. and some of the Laurels. Aren't they gorgeous!
Good times.
What is this? A party full of preschoolers. I'm sure you can just imagine the cake crumbs all over the floor. Tons of fun!
All the kids did a great job decorating their heart cake.
What a good lookin' bunch.
Our Valentine morning spoils. A crappy picture, but you get the idea.
I have to give props to my husband on this one. He lead me to believe that I probably wouldn't get much of anything for V-Day because I had the car on Friday and he didn't want to go buy me something when I knew that's where he was going (he likes to surprise me). Well I pick him up on Friday and he comes out of work with these. He got one of his coworkers to drive him to the store to get them. He was so proud of himself when he told me that he picked out each flower for the arrangement before having the woman put it together. He bragged that he was the only male in the store making his own arrangement while the others just grabbed a pre made bundle. He did a great job don't you think? It was me that arranged them in the vase so they actually looked much better when he gave them to me. I'm so blessed.
Reading his card from Grandma and Papa Ross.
