New Jersey here we come!

Well, after many prayers and lots of waiting John and I have finally decided that we will be moving to New Jersey. Back in March John went to an ASU internship fair looking for an internship he would need to graduate this summer. While there he spoke with the representatives from Lockheed Martin. After reviewing his resume they suggested that he apply for the Leadership Development Program instead of the internship. This seemed like a great option so he applied. Shortly after they wanted to do a phone interview. He did and it went great which led to a request for John to fly out to New Jersey for 2 one-on-one interviews, a panel interview, and a facility tour. We knew this was a really big deal because they paid for all expenses to have John fly out there, and there were only 30 people invited from all over the country to come.

When John returned from the trip he was told that they would extend him an offer to work for the company. This job would be a 2 year Operations training program were he will work with all different aspects of the company. We are required to move at least twice during the 2 years. Our first move will be to Moorestown, New Jersey. Our second location is undecided (we get to choose). After that John is free to choose where and for which aspect of the company he wants to work for. We are really excited about this move. We have done a lot of praying to make sure this was the right choice for our family. We will be moving the middle of July.

With that we also wanted to let all know that we will also be selling our home. If anyone is interested in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home in Mesa let us know. I think we will be selling it for $240, 000.00. We aren't moving until July though. Our kitchen has been recently remolded with new counter tops and appliances. We also had brand new carpet and tile put throughout the entire house a little over a year ago.

Here are a few pictures of some of the sights we will be living by.

We will be right next to Philadelphia Pennsylvania (like 20min or closer). This is Liberty Hall were the Declaration of Independence was signed. Cool!

Betsy Ross house

This will be cool, Reading Terminal. And of course the Rocky steps. (Philadelphia Art Museum) We will be 90 minutes from the Big Apple too!

And don't forget George W., he will be 3 hours away. Though by the time we get there he will be getting ready to move himself.

I can't wait for you to move here. We'll be sure to see eachother. Although it will be crazy trying to get here. But we've never been to Philly either, so we'll trade off and come visit you as well. Yeah for New York City! I love it. Sad that you'll have to move after a year though.

That's awesome for you! What a great opportunity. We took an informal and decided you should pick Denver when you get the chance.

Although I imagine the second year you will pick New Jersey again. And again at the end of the second year. You could pick Denver, of course, but I just can't see how the mountains could compare to New Jersey.

I'm so excited that you get to go and do something exciting. I've always wanted to move out of state for a little while. Seems like it would be fun. That's cool you'll be so close to all those sites.
